Are you a new or experienced farmer seeking farmland in San Juan County, WA?

The Farmers-to-Farmland program seeks to connect new and experienced farmers with land owners who wish to sell, lease or transfer their farmland. If you are seeking land, please fill out the Farmer Seeking Farmland Application

This information will help us understand your goals including whether you are interested in leasing or purchasing land, types of farming that you are interested in pursuing, your previous experience farming, infrastructure needs, assets, and more.

Information provided will be confidential and will help us identify a good land match for you.

After reviewing your application, we will contact you to schedule a meeting. Support is also available through this program to connect you to mentors, business planning, access to capital, and technical assistance on crop production.

For information and model documents about options for accessing land, whether through lease, lease to purchase, contract purchase, or other tools, please see the Resources page. You’ll also find information about opportunities for farming on conserved farmland, including understanding and working with conservation easements.

We look forward to working with you! Please contact us at farmer@sjiagguild.com with any questions.
